Mental Health and Wellness Vision

The mental health crisis in Manitoba is preventing many people from experiencing happiness and fully participating in society. Especially after the pandemic. Manitoba needs to support everyone’s mental well being and social inclusion, as a part of a holistic care based strategy.

Goals

  • Invest in mental health professionals and programs so that services are available for any and all Manitobans when needed.
  • Invest in community led crisis response terms instead of police and emergency personnel.
  • Adopt the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace
  • Invest in programs focused on harm reduction, food security, and housing, all of which are related to mental health crises.
